“There is always more of God than our pain and disappointments.”

A thought by Christine Caine from her book, Unstoppable: Running the Race You Were Born To Win (p. 151). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. (Click on the book title to go to Amazon.com to buy the book.) Have you found this true yet, in your life? Christine leading up to this thought says, “The psalmist exhorts us: ‘Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together’ (Psalm 34:3 NKJV). When we use a magnifying glass, we are not making the object bigger; rather, we are amplifying our ability to see it for what it really is. Think of the telescope in an observatory. To the naked eye, distant stars are but a tiny speck of light. But in reality, they are huge. We never want our understanding of God to be limited to what we can perceive within the confines of our limited vision; we want to see him for how huge he really is. So, boost the power of your lens to see how huge God really is. He is always everywhere. There is always more of God than our pain and disappointments. T

“God uses the enemy’s tactics against him.”

The enemy is already defeated. And what’s more, God uses the enemy’s tactics against him. What the enemy intends for evil, God use

Do you have trouble getting out of bed each morning?   Maybe  you feel like your life is a closed-door?  Do you? Christine says, “When I look into the eyes of my husband and children, when I see lives transformed through ministry and love, when I see God multiply what we offer him and make our ‘not enough’ into more than enough, I taste this wide-open, expansive kind of life, and my passion to keep running the race grows.” She goes on, “What is it that drives Olympic athletes to get up early, push through pain, set aside distractions to keep their focus, and maintain their commitment — for years ? Passion. “What keeps Kalli and all the rest of our A21 staff at locations around the world going day after day, year after year, even though they must repeatedly face the discoura
