“See trust grow where fear reigned.”

A thought by Christine Caine from her book, Unstoppable: Running the Race You Were Born To Win (p. 152). Zondervan. Kindle Edition. (Click on the book title to go to Amazon.com to buy the book.) I know that fear can keep us from so many fantastic possibilities and positive circumstances. Christine says, “Have you ever struggled with questions such as, How can I possibly meet such needs? The task seems too great and I feel too small. What if I’m not up to the task? What if I start down this road and fail? “Do you hear the whispers of the enemy? What if, what if, what if? It’s important to recognize that voice so that you know a trial when you face one. Instead, listen to God’s voice: ‘For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind’ (2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV). The moment you taste fear, focus on the good news that you’ve just seen the territory where your faith is about to grow. Like Peter standing on the turbulent water, reach for Jesus

“There is always more of God than our pain and disappointments.”

Have you found this true yet, in your life? Christine leading up to this thought says, “The psalmist exhorts us: ‘Oh magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together’ (Psalm 34:3 NKJV). We never want our understanding of God to be limited to what we can perceive within the confines of our limited vision; we want to see him for how huge he really is. So, boost the power of your lens to see how huge God really is. He is always everywhere. There is always more of God than our pain and disappointments. T

I don’t know what you are going through.   I don’t but God does and I do know he will use it. Christine shares, “God’s divine relay threatens the enemy’s territory, and he will not go down without a fight. If you have any doubt of that, just read of his insidious attempts to tempt Jesus at the onset of his ministry (Matthew 4: 1-11) and of his work in Judas (Matthew 26). If he is bold enough to try to take on the Son of God, he won’t hesitate to do his best to thwart us, the followers of Christ.” But look at this, 1 John 4:4 (NASB) says, “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.” Christine goes on, “Jesus overcame the Evil One. The enemy is already defeated. And what’s more, God uses the enemy’s tactics against him. What the enemy intends for evil, God use
