“If you want to discover who you really are, seek God.”

We want so much to know who we are.   We take all of those tests and they do help, they really do, God uses them but to really know we must seek God. Mark says, “God knows you better than you know you. Not only did He knit you together in your mother’s womb, but He has prepared good works in advance with your name on them (Ephesians 2:10).   If you want to discover who you really are, seek God.” He goes on, “Author and speaker Sir Ken Robinson hails from Liverpool, England, the same hometown as Sir Paul McCartney. One day as they were comparing notes, Sir Ken discovered that Sir Paul hadn’t performed very well in his musical studies. His high school teacher didn’t give him good marks and didn’t even notice any innate talent. Amazing, right? But it gets even better! George Harr

“God speaks through people, but those people are as imperfect as we are.”

A thought by Mark Batterson from his book, Whisper: How to Hear the Voice of God (p. 137). The Crown Publishing Group. Kindle Edition. (Click on the book title to go to Amazon.com to buy the book.) But speaking the truth in love is an earned right, and it’s the by-product of relationship. The stronger the relationship, the more weight those words carry.” He then says, “I know far too many people who

“But faith is the willingness to look foolish.”

We limit ourselves and even God in our lives when we are afraid to look foolish. Mark says, “By definition, a God-sized dream is always beyond our abilities, beyond our logic, and beyond our resources. In other words, we can’t do it without God’s help. In my experience, God ideas often seem like crazy ideas. That’s how I felt when God originally gave us a vision for a coffeehouse on Capitol Hill. Frankly, we had no business going into the coffeehouse business. But it was just crazy enough to be God.” He goes on, “I don’t know what God’s will is for your life, and you certainly need to do your homework. But faith is the willingness to look foolish. Noah looked a little crazy building a boat. Sarah looked a little crazy shopping for maternity clothes at age ninety. The wise men
