“Spend time with those you love. One of these days you will either say, ‘I wish I had,’ or, ‘I'm glad I did.’”

I remember the time when I got the call from my mom telling me that my dad had been killed.   I still have some emotion thinking about it and what I have missed with him in my life.   People are so very important.   That is what Zig is saying here. He says, “We have no idea what's going to happen tomorrow or even an hour from now in our own lives or in the lives of those we love. However, we do know that if we take action now to reinforce or mend some of our relationships, we'll look back with gratitude and say to ourselves, ‘You know, I'm really glad I took the time.’” He goes on, “I've never heard a busy person say, ‘If I had it to do over, I'd watch even more television, spend more time at the office, work even harder on my career.’ However, I've heard many peop

People really do make a difference, don’t they? I was standing in line at a Starbucks in Vegas where I lived at the time and I was talking to the guy in front of me and came to find out that he went to the same high school that I did in Owosso, Michigan and he had the same teacher, Mr. Gilbert who was also a great influence on him as he was on me.   Mr. Gilbert was a difference maker. Who has made a difference on your life in a positive way? Zig says, “When you choose the company you keep, you choose the messages of life you will hear, which means you choose your future.” Right before this he said, “It is my conviction that the right words spoken at the right time can make a dramatic difference in a person's life. Fortunately, you can choose to be at the right place to hear those
